PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
Legal Counsel – EDF / Permitting Legal Department, 2021 - Present (Paris)
Provide legal support to business units, technical teams and corporate functions on the development and operation of nuclear and hydroelectric power generation projects.
Nuclear Power Experience: Legal structuring of new nuclear projects, including “project” qualification under environmental law; securing land rights for reactor construction; regulatory procedures relating to nuclear fuel changes for operating installations; legal review of environmental impact assessments for new nuclear facilities; delivery of targeted legal training to operational teams on permitting requirements across the project lifecycle.
