Bruna Žuber

Bruna Žuber is an associate professor of administrative law at the Department of Administrative Law and Vice Dean for Curricular Affairs at the Faculty of Law.

Her research focuses on administrative procedural law. She also conducts research in the field of constitutional law, with a particular focus on constitutional procedural guarantees. She is head of several national research projects in the field of administrative procedural law. As a researcher, she actively participates in numerous international projects, including collaborations with the University of Seville, the University of Zurich, the University of Trieste, the University of Trento, and the University of Rijeka. She is also involved in educational activities abroad.

She was a guest lecturer at the University of Trieste (Italy) for a longer period in 2020 and a visiting lecturer at several other foreign universities for shorter periods. She is a member of the editorial board of the Central European Journal of Comparative Law, Białostockie Studia Prawnicze, and Državno odvjetništvo otvara razgovor (DOOR).

She actively applies her academic knowledge in practice. As an expert, she participates in the drafting of national legislation. From 2018 to 2022, as a senior legal advisor at the Supreme Court of the Republic of Slovenia, she made significant contributions to the development of administrative case law.

In 2017, she established a cooperation between the Faculty of Law and the Administrative Court of the Republic of Slovenia, which enables students to combine theoretical knowledge with practical experience.

In 2019, she founded the Administrative Justice Legal Clinic. She is the recipient of the Young Lawyer of the Year Award (2019) and has received several awards from the Faculty of Law and the University of Ljubljana for her outstanding teaching and research achievements.
