Guilherme Cardoso
Guilherme Cardoso is Nuclear Technology Advisor at nucleareurope, where he works on European nuclear policy, technology, and industrial development. His areas of focus include SMRs, nuclear supply chain, low-carbon hydrogen, and the contribution of nuclear energy to Europe’s clean transition and industrial competitiveness. He is involved in a wide range of European initiatives related to the future of nuclear energy, with particular attention to industrial and energy policy.
Prior to joining nucleareurope, he worked as a Systems Engineer at EDF on the Flamanville 3 EPR project in France, gaining first-hand knowledge about the challenges of deploying nuclear power plants.
He holds a Bachelor Degree in Materials Engineering from the University of Lisbon in Portugal, and Master Degrees in Nuclear Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia in Spain, and the ParisTech PSL University in France.
