Orsolya Fazekas

I am a professional energy lawyer with 17 years of experience in electricity, district heating and gas and 5 years of experience in nuclear.

As my hobby, I teach energy law at University Károli Gáspár of the Reformed Church Budapest. I edited two books titled "Operation and regulation of the Hungarian electricity sector I." and Operation and regulation of the Hungarian natural gas sector I." The second (updated) editions of both books were be published in early autumn 2022. My last edited book titled "Operation and regulation of the Hungarian nuclear sector I." was published in 2024.
Until its termination, I used to be a member of the Permanent Energy Arbitration Court in Budapest. In addition to general regulatory experience, I have experience in international investment disputes (e.g. EDF contra Hungarian State RE forced termination of the PPAs) as well.
