Roberto Adinolfi

Born on 1952, he got his University Degree in Nuclear Engineering cum laude at Politecnico of Milan in 1976, and has been appointed Doctor Honoris Causa by the University of Pitesti (Romania).

All his career was inside companies belonging to the ANSALDO group, dealing mainly, but not exclusively, with the nuclear business, both in Italy and abroad.
Since 2000, he was back to nuclear, as Director of ANSALDO Energia Nuclear Division and, since 2007, as Chief Executive Officer of ANSALDO Nucleare spa. He left the position in 2019, taking over the current responsibility as Chairman of the Board.

He serves in the Senior Industrial Advisory Panel of Generation IV International Forum (GIF).
Furthermore he was member of the Steering Committee of the EU SMR Prepartnership Initiative, acting as coordinator of the working group on Supply Chain Adaptation,and is currently involved in the SMR Indutrial Alliance working on the same subject.
He is also Vice President of the Associazione Italiana Nucleare.
